Drawing after the luncheon is for one free registration to the IABC Southern Region conference in Tampa, Oct. 18-20. Value of more than $350.
Human resources (HR) communication is a different animal – it’s not like routine internal communication. For many organizations, HR communication has moved far beyond ongoing benefit and recruiting communication to encompass strategic planning and targeted messaging for major change management initiatives.

With all the communication employees are exposed to on a daily basis, it’s a challenge to get their attention. It’s even tougher to develop HR (or any) communication that moves employees to take action or change behavior.

That’s why it’s valuable to take a fresh approach to understanding your audiences, and then to target your messages based on what you’ve learned. Robin McCasland will share some simple (sometimes funny) and useful approaches to help you, or someone you work with, develop more compelling, effective communication. The first step toward delivering truly strategic communication is to adopt the mantra, “It’s not about me!”

If you work with HR professionals, invite them to attend this luncheon with you. There’s information to help you work more effectively together to ensure the best possible results for your HR programs – or any major corporate or client initiative.
